We started 1st center considering the decline in the basic reading & arithmetic skills of young children because of little knowledge , Bhartiya Jan Kalyan Trust started a project called Project "PRAYASH" and took up the responsibility to teach underprivileged & poor children. The sessions are conducted on weekdays, for 2 hours at our center.
Through our daily session we not only teach them but also try to inculcate values and uplift these children belonging to needy sector of society. When you educate someone you them a opportunity to live happier life and fight against any problem.
Project "PRAYASH" currently targets children living in Sadar Tehsil Raebareli and aims to bridge their knowledge according to the Acadmic standards.
Starting with only one center, 5 volunteers and 30 children in the first half of 2023. We are planning to start more centers in near future

Bhartiya Jan Kalyan Trust believes that the only difference between the underprivileged and privileged- is the availability of resources and opportunities and our sole purpose lies in bridging that gap. This project is executed in various steps. First, feasibility study is conducted where volunteers identify a community and conduct education awareness drive in communities with parents. The aim is this activity is to make parents aware of the importance of education.
After feasibility study, we rent a teaching space within or nearby the communities’ dwellings to provide skill training and education to the children. We always make sure that teaching space is easily accessible to community members. The third step is to recruit qualified educators to provide education, keeping in mind the teacher-student ratio. Finally, in the fourth step, we roll out our activities which are strengthening academics and fundamentals, creating awareness about hygiene and nutrition, skill development and vocational training.
In addition, we also enroll academically deserving kids into private school by sponsoring their education through our program.
